Each Year at a Glimpse

Phase 1:

Theological

At Ignite Ministerial Institute, you will receive world-class material taught by the most equipped pastors and leaders in our nation. Their theological approach to God's Word and their years of experience will give you the tools needed to interpret and apply every teaching to become a well-rounded leader.

Phase 2:

EDUCATIONAL

Combined with our PIVOT course, Ignite Ministerial Institute will allow you to take your leadership further by receiving credits that can be applied towards your master's degree through the University of Valley Forge. This cohort will allow you to understand the ins and out of your calling as a minister and how to thrive in your personal life as a believer. Also, throughout the year, you will take part in different intensive courses, apart from the required academics, that will enhance your knowledge in other topics relevant to today’s culture.

Phase 3:

PRACTICAL

During your third year at Ignite Ministerial Institute, you will learn how to take the information learned in the classroom and apply it to your current leadership context. Along with the courses approved by AG, you will also take part in cohorts. Throughout the year, these cohorts will give you the insights and techniques to face today's ministerial and personal challenges. In addition, we will also help you establish relationships leaders from around the nation, through a network. This will also prepare you for success as an Ignite Ministerial Institute graduate.

Relationships and Ethics in Ministry

Introduction to teaching to understand the basics on education in the areas of teacher, student and material. The teacher’s appeal to the five senses and to variety in class is emphasized.

A study of pneumatology, the distinctive Pentecostal doctrine of the Holy Spirit, focusing on the divinity and personality of the Spirit and the work of the Spirit in applying to believers the benefits of Christ’s work.

A Spirit-Empowered Church: An Acts 2 Ministry Model

Course Description:
An Acts 2 Ministry biblical, comprehensive, and strategic plan requires the empowerment of the Spirit to produce spiritual fruit and a flourishing church. The strategic plan is based on Acts 2 and focuses on developing Spirit-empowered disciples who will be involved in the five functions found there: connect, grow, serve, go, and worship. Assessment tools are used to identify areas where changes are needed, and the strategic plan is used to focus on God’s vision for each local church.
