What is Ignite Ministerial Institute?

Our vision is to offer individuals who are seeking to obtain ministerial credentials the ability to meet their academic requirements from the comfort of their own home at an accelerated pace. Our students are taught by world-class leaders within the Assemblies of God.

ABOUT IGNITE

Ignite began in 2006, as a nine-month internship for young adults seeking ministerial training and credentials. As the years passed, Ignite responded to the growing need to equip individuals from various walks of life, such as ministry leaders, entrepreneurs, students, and those who desire to grow in the knowledge of the Bible

Building leaders since 2006

2003

While leading a missions trip, the Lord spoke to Pastor Mark on beginning a school dedicated to training young ministers.

2006

Ignite Internship is established and opened its doors in Tampa, Florida, welcoming the first seven students.

2007

After nine months of training, traveling and serving, the first group of students graduate.

2007

Summer

Ignite Summer Internship is launched in Tampa, Florida.

Fall

Pastors Mark and Lisa along with the Ignite Leadership follow the Lord’s call to transition two hours north to Gainesville, Florida.
Ignite Life Center is launched as a church dedicated to bringing life & service to the community of Gainesville.

2011

Ignite transitioned from a nine-month internship into a three-year school of ministry.

2013

Ignite took its first mission trip to Panama.

2014

In addition, a partnership with Southeastern University was cemented which granted students…while attending ISM.

2017

Summer

Ignite expanded its reach to the West Coast through its launch of Ignite Summer Internship in Phoenix, Arizona.

After the completion of the first summer internship in Phoenix, Ignite reached its landmark of 1,000 graduated students

2017

FALL

Following a powerful Summer Internship in Phoenix, Arizona, Ignite School of Ministry partners with SAGU American Indian College and establishes its first West Coast campus.

2019

Ignite traveled to the Dominican Republic for missions.
Seeing the growing need of ministerial training in the East Coast, Ignite New York is launched in August in the city of New Rochelle.

Ignite Online launches its campus on the web in the Fall of 2019.

2020

We felt building a program to identify holistic ministers around the nation
 
Ignite leadership recognized the need for an online, fast paced, and holistic training program to grow ministers around the nation and beyond. A partnership with the Assemblies of God was started to provide institute classes online along with leadership electives in efforts to address the growing need for holistic ministers.
